Gregg Perelman
Principal and CEO |
|
Gregg Perelman brings long years of entrepreneurial
experience and a wealth of business management and development
expertise to Walnut Capital. Prior to founding Walnut
Capital Partners, Perelman was President and CEO of
a nationwide specialty pharmacy that provided home medication
delivery nationwide. Under his guidance and vision,
he grew a family-owned neighborhood drug store into
a nationwide mail service pharmacy. In less than 10
years, that business grew from annual revenues of $1
million (1987) to over $250 million (1996.) When he
sold the firm in 1996, the pharmacy employed over 800
individuals and served tens of thousands of patients
across the country.
In 1997, Perelman turned his attention and customer-focused
philosophy to the real estate market. He has been instrumental
in creating and implementing Walnut Capital's aggressive
acquisition and development strategy.
In addition, Perelman lives and works in the East End
of Pittsburgh, and has focused a considerable amount
of his time and energy on redeveloping properties in
the area and restoring them as high-end, showcase rental
properties. He is a "hands on" developer and
can often be seen supervising construction and renovation
projects in the field, as well as proudly showing his
apartments and townhomes to prospective tenants. |
