As cooler weather rolls in and the leaves begin to change, Pittsburgh becomes the perfect place to experience the best of fall. From neighborhood festivals and outdoor adventures to seasonal treats and local traditions, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Here are a few events to help you make the most of the season.
November
Around the City:
Three Rivers Film FestivalNovember 4–15 | Multiple Pittsburgh Locations
Lights, camera, Pittsburgh! The Three Rivers Film Festival is back with a lineup of independent films, shorts, filmmaker discussions and special events. Whether you're a movie buff or just looking for something different to do, it's the perfect excuse for a night at the movies!
Kennywood Holiday Lights
October 2–November 13–January 3 | Kennywood
Get ready to see Kennywood in a whole new light! The park transforms into a winter wonderland with more than three million twinkling lights, festive treats, family-friendly rides and appearances from Rudolph and friends. It's a Pittsburgh holiday tradition you won't want to miss!
Phipps Holiday Magic
November 20–January 10 | Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Step into a world of holiday magic at Phipps! This year's Botanical Brilliance theme brings sparkling displays, colorful plants and glowing gardens to life. Take a stroll through the festive exhibits and get into the holiday spirit!
Highmark Light Up Night
November 21 | Downtown Pittsburgh
It's officially the most wonderful time of the year in Pittsburgh! Head Downtown for Highmark Light Up Night, featuring festive entertainment, holiday tree lightings and a spectacular fireworks finale. Bring your friends, bundle up and celebrate the start of the holiday season in the Burgh!

Steelers Games on the Big ScreenNovember 1, 15, 22, 27 | Bakery Square Courtyard
Here we go! Cheer on the Steelers on the big screen right in the Bakery Square Courtyard. Grab a bite or drink from one of the restaurants around the Square, find a spot on the lawn and enjoy game day surrounded by fellow Steelers fans.
General Trivia Night
November 5 from 8.00 - 10.00 PM | City Kitchen
Put your random knowledge to the test at City Kitchen! Grab your team and compete during General Trivia Night for a chance to win a $50 City Kitchen gift card. Registration is required and spots are limited.
Saturday Morning Yoga
Every Saturday | Bakery Square
Start your weekend with a reset! Bakery Square hosts free Saturday morning yoga at 10:30 AM. When the weather cooperates, class takes place outside on the lawn; otherwise, it moves indoors to The Portal. Just bring your mat and water.
Yinz Mahj Open Play
November 15 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Bakery Square Courtyard
Join us for a morning of mahjong and community at Bakery Square! This open play event is perfect for players who already know the game and are looking to get in some great rounds at the table.

Stuff the First BusThrough November 30 | Puttshack at The Terminal
Spread some holiday cheer and help make a difference! Bring a new, unwrapped toy for children ages 13 and under to Puttshack to support Marine Toys for Tots. As a thank-you, enjoy a free game of mini golf and two hours of parking!

Around the City:
Oktoberfest PittsburghOctober 1-11 | Downtown Pittsburgh
Prost! Oktoberfest Pittsburgh is taking over Downtown with 11 days of German-inspired food, drinks, live music and activities. The celebration stretches along Fort Duquesne Boulevard and the Roberto Clemente Bridge, with free general admission and plenty to eat, drink and explore.
Jack O'Lantern Extravaganza
October 2–November 1 | Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium
Get into the Halloween spirit with thousands of artistically carved pumpkins lighting up the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium. Take an evening stroll through glowing displays, and keep an eye out for ZooBoo festivities during the final two weekends of October.
Festival of Combustion
October 3 | Carrie Blast Furnaces
Things are heating up at Carrie Blast Furnaces! This one-day festival celebrates Pittsburgh's industrial and creative side with hands-on demonstrations, live music, food trucks, craft beer and opportunities to explore the historic site.
Fall Flower Show: Visions of Japan
Opens October 10 | Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Take in all the colors of fall without leaving the city. Phipps' Fall Flower Show celebrates the chrysanthemum and its significance in Japanese culture with colorful floral displays, a moon gate, pagoda, bridges and other immersive elements.
Fall Fest at the Pittsburgh Playhouse
October 23–November 1 | Pittsburgh Playhouse
Head Downtown for a multi-day celebration filled with fall and Halloween fun. Pittsburgh Playhouse's Fall Fest returns with food and drinks, games, local vendors, arts and crafts and family-friendly activities.
