A new "Secure Innovation Center" is set to be open early 2026, as announced Wednesday by the AI Strike team.

This building, called a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility), is expected to bring 400 high-pay jobs to the area, as well as potentially 100,000 jobs to the Pittsburgh region by 2028, assuming AI Strike Team's goal goes according to plan. The SCIF is the first step in the right direction to truly unlock AI tech as Pittsburgh's new biggest industry.
