Pittsburgh Athletic Association

Legendary Building since 1908.

Currently undergoing a Historic Renovation.

The Pittsburgh Athletic Association was a prominent social and athletic club that has been an important part of the Oakland neighborhood since its opening in 1911. The building has hosted major events, accommodated prominent club members (including Mr. Rogers), and has been featured in several major motion pictures. The building boasts incredible Venitian architecture and an ideal location in central Oakland. Today, a new chapter unfolds as the building is undergoing a comprehensive modernization and historic restoration. The building is set to include several floors of office space and the iconic lobby will be refreshed and progressive concepts reimagined to uses that re-establish the PAA's seminal place in the fabric of Oakland.
